Ch Kamil Hayat completed his LLB from Punjab University, Lahore. Prior to embarking on the legal education and training, He did his Bachelors in Business Administration, with honors from
National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad and completed his M. Phil. in International Relations from National Defence University, Islamabad. His thesis was based on trade relations between India and Pakistan with a specific focus on granting Most Favourite Nation (MFN) status to India and its implications for Pakistan.

Ch Kamil Hayat is currently Partner at Seerat Law Associates, a law firm of legal practitioners and consultants based in Islamabad providing a vast range of legal services to his clients with a primary consideration of protecting their interests through research and by rendering professional expertise in all contentious and non-contentious matters. He appears before courts ranging from statutory forums to high courts, including tribunals and regulatory bodies, and has assisted in landmark cases.
